Alright, footy fanatics, gather 'round! The Summer 2025 CoEd 7v7 league at McCarren Park is absolutely cooking, serving up drama, dazzling goals, and more twists than a pretzel factory! We're deep into the season now, and the standings are starting to take some serious shape, with a few teams truly dominating the emerald turf.

The Unstoppable Force

Let's kick things off with the absolute titans of the league: 2 Girls 1 Goal. Folks, call the fire department, because this team is BLAZING! They remain UNBEATEN, a perfect slate of 9 wins from 9, and an astounding +33 goal differential. They've shown they're all about that singular objective: winning, time and time again! In their most recent fixtures, they've kept the pedal to the metal, smashing Daniel's Team 6-0 and shutting down Soccer My Balls with a clinical 3-0 victory. What a performance!

The Chasing Pack

Just behind them, building a strong bridge to the top, sits Rialto Grande United. They've been a model of consistency, currently holding strong in second place with 24 points. Their grit was on full display with a tight 3-2 victory over Forma Footy Factory and a convincing 4-1 win against Creative Flow FC. Right on their heels are Capybaras FC. This squad has continued to chill like a true capybara, but when the whistle blows, they're biting hard! They've had a strong run, despite being recently held to a 1-1 draw by the always unpredictable Footjobs – a result that sent a little shiver down the spine of the Brooklyn soccer scene. Capybaras FC did, however, show their teeth previously by shutting out Farcelona 2-0.

Mid-Table Mayhem

Speaking of Footjobs, they’ve certainly been putting in the 'footwork' recently, securing a respectable 17 points and proving to be a tough out for anyone in the league. Coach Daniel has truly crafted a formidable "team" with Daniel's Team, holding a solid 16 points, even after a tough loss to the league leaders. Then we have Organ Donors FC, who are certainly 'giving their all' on the pitch. They pulled off a critical 4-2 win against Farcelona, pulling themselves further into the upper half of the table. Soccer My Balls, while they've certainly got some 'balls', consistency has kicked them around a bit recently, but they're still in the mix.

The Battle at the Bottom

Down at the bottom, the fight for points is just as intense. Farcelona, while not quite living up to their *El Clásico* namesake consistently, showed a flash of 'Barça' brilliance by beating Daniel's Team 4-2, proving they can still surprise. Creative Flow FC is still searching for that elusive 'creative flow' that opens up defenses, and Forma Footy Factory is still working on getting their optimal 'forma' out there on the pitch, both locked at 7 points. And then we have Mongo Bongo FC, who are currently finding their rhythm has been a challenge, not quite hitting the 'bongo' drums of victory regularly enough. And TACOS, they've shown a little spice but could use more 'salsa' in their step to conquer the league fully, picking up a vital 4-2 win over Organ Donors FC in their last outing, showing they've got some fight left!
