The summit of this league mountain has been a dual residency for weeks, primarily commanded by the sheer will and attacking might of 2 Girls 1 Goal. While their name implies a singular focus, this squad often finds the back of the net many, many more times than '1 Goal'! Their season has been a runaway train, scoring for fun and shutting down challengers. However, folks, we just witnessed a seismic shift on August 25th when Footjobs, yes, Footjobs – putting the 'foot' in fantastic and getting the 'job' done! – delivered a stunning 2-1 defeat to the seemingly invincible 2 Girls 1 Goal! That, my friends, is why we tune in! It was their first taste of defeat all season, and it has absolutely sent ripples through the table!

Right on their heels, as tenacious as they come, are Capybaras FC. They've truly been living up to their name, showing no signs of being 'capy'-barricaded by any defense!
