We iiiiiight F.C. wasted no time showing they're more than just "alright" on the pitch, netting four goals past Goal Diggers in a comfortable 4-1 victory. Unfortunately for Goal Diggers, they couldn't quite "dig up" enough goals for a win this time. Then there's FC Disbeleaf, who left no room for "disbelief" as they completely dismantled Popcorn Shrimp FC with a commanding 5-2 win. The prawn-loving squad couldn't quite "pop off" in front of goal early on!

But it wasn't just about outscoring your opponent, amigos! The backlines were tighter than a drum for some early pace-setters. Finally United FC showed, well, they've "finally united" their backline and attack, securing a rock-solid 3-0 clean sheet against the combined efforts of Just Friends FC / Diamond Dogs FC, who are still just trying to "make friends" with the scoreboard. And let’s hear it for the Wednesday Warriors! They truly "waged a war" on the pitch, shutting down Jogo Bonito 3-0, proving their name isn't just for show. Unfortunately for Jogo Bonito, the "beautiful game" wasn't so beautiful for them this time around.

Gritty Draws and Rejections of Defeat

Not every match was a landslide, folks! We had some real battles for supremacy. COG and Arse N All played out a tense 1-1 draw, showing both sides are a "well-oiled cog" when defending, and Arse N All certainly gave it their "all" to bag a valuable point. And let's talk about 5 star rejects FC. They absolutely "rejected" the notion of defeat, gutting out a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Rover Celtics, who were left "roving" for answers in the dying minutes.
