Fall 2026 Saturday 7v7 Men's Soccer at Gantry Plaza State Park

The atmosphere down at Gantry Plaza State Park is absolutely electric as the autumn chill settles over the Long Island City waterfront. The beautiful game, or as the purists call it, du foot, is in full swing and the tactical battles on this pristine turf are keeping spectators on the edge of their seats.

Commanding the Pitch

In a display of pure clinical superiority, James FC stormed out of the gates with a thundering 3-0 clean sheet against LIC FC. They managed to seize the day with such precision that it is clear they are aiming for nothing less than total dominance. Meanwhile, Tercios Balompié flexed their muscles in a narrow, high-octane 3-2 thriller against Goalacticos. That victory proved that they are certainly not a third-rate choice, showing the class required to thrive in this high-stakes league.

Midfield Maneuvers and Tight Margins

It was a heart-stopper for Mathias FC, who let a lead slip in their 4-3 loss to Hard Pass FC. While the result stings, the match proved that Hard Pass FC makes a move look easy when the pressure reaches a boiling point, keeping their opponents on their back foot throughout. As the schedule unfolds, look for Goalacticos to recalibrate their orbits, as their recent performance suggests they have the firepower to shoot for the stars once they tighten up the back line. Whether you call it calcio, fútbol, or just plain old footy, the upcoming fixtures are shaping up to be a tactical masterclass across the board.
