Summer 2026 Thursday 7v7 CoEd Soccer at Battery Park City Ball Fields

The competition down at the Battery Park City Ball Fields has been absolute electricity, folks. We are witnessing some classic footy where the beautiful game shows its true colors under the lights.

Markus FC Dominates the Pitch

Talk about leaving a mark, Markus FC has been making a definitive statement throughout the campaign. Even when they stumbled recently against the Hogs and a hungry group, they remain the squad to beat. They proved they were certainly not just marking time while sitting atop the table for much of this run.

The Standouts and the Surprises

Watch out for ABCDE FC, because that result from August 25th was a total clinic—they put up eight goals without blinking. It is as easy as A-B-C-D-E for this bunch when they are firing on all cylinders! Meanwhile, VHBall Hogs have shown true grit, refusing to be hogged by the competition as they keep fighting for every scrap of possession. Stripe started off with such ferocity, looking like they were ready to paint the town red, though they have seen some fluctuating fortunes recently. Finally, Straight Outta Citi managed such a massive 5-0 result late in August that it is clear they are indeed straight out of nightmares for any defensive line they face.

The Final Stretch

The race for the top of this Summer 2026 Thursday 7v7 CoEd league is hitting a fever pitch. With only a few match days remaining, tactical discipline and stamina in this format of fußball will be the ultimate decider. Prepare for more fireworks, folks—this is the beautiful game at its most frantic and brilliant.
