What a season this has been, packed with pulsating matches, stunning upsets, and some truly magnificent displays of footy. The autumn air has been electric over these past weeks, truly set ablaze by the intensity of our local league stars!

Top of the Table Tangle

Alright, let's talk brass tacks, or should we say, tactical masterclasses! Sitting atop the pile, absolutely dominant, is the formidable squad of COG. Folks, call them the 'Cog-father' of this division because they have simply been untouchable, pulling the COG-s in every single match with an undefeated record and a staggering goal difference. Their 5-1 demolition of even the mighty Wednesday Warriors was a statement win, shaking the very foundations of the league!

Right on their heels, but with a couple of surprising stumbles, are Arse N All. This team has shown flashes of brilliance, putting together some fantastic romps, but their recent 0-4 body blow from Popcorn Shrimp FC was certainly a moment where they got caught with their Arse exposed. Despite that, they remain a top-tier contender, ready to spoil anyone's party. Not far behind are the Wednesday Warriors, who, true to their name, are battling away fiercely. While the COG loss was a tough pill to swallow, these Warriors continue to impress with their resilience and skill, clearly one of the elite outfits.

Rising Stars and Shockers

Now, let's not overlook the absolute surge of 5 star rejects FC! After a somewhat wobbly start, this squad has been on a tear, collecting points like they’re going out of style. With 9 wins and a draw in their last 10 outings, they've proven they are certainly no rejects on that pitch, showing the kind of form that could challenge the very top! Elsewhere, we saw Popcorn Shrimp FC deliver one of the season's biggest shocks with their clean 4-0 win over Arse N All. Talk about a tasty result; nobody, and we mean nobody, saw that coming!

Mid-table is an absolute dogfight, where every point truly matters. FC Disbeleaf has demonstrated their incredible attacking prowess with some massive scorelines, including a 10-2 spectacle against Just Friends FC / Diamond Dogs FC and a 9-0 drubbing of TBD FC. They leave no room for disbeleaf in their ability to find the net. The ever-adaptive We iiiiiight F.C. is hovering, consistently picking up results and proving they are, indeed, we-iiiiight in the mix. Rover Celtics, meanwhile, have been Rover-powering through the season with some crucial wins, making them a tricky opponent for anyone.

The Unfinished Symphony

Then we have the heart of the league: Finally United FC showing glimpses of brilliance and cohesion, looking like they are finally beginning to gel as a unit. Over in the trenches, Goal Diggers are working hard, trying to dig themselves out of the lower half of the standings, finding a couple of important wins along the way. While Just Friends FC / Diamond Dogs FC have faced a tough run of results, you've got to believe they'll keep battling to find that inner diamond on the pitch. And as for Jogo Bonito, well, they really need to deliver more moments of the 'beautiful game' to climb out of the bottom rung, while the fate of TBD FC's final league position seems truly to be determined, with most of their results going sideways.

With just two game weeks left against some fierce opponents, the race for the top spots and even mid-table bragging rights is far from over. Buckle up, soccer aficionados, because this Fall 2025 season is heading for a grandstand finish!
