Summer 2025 Monday 7v7 CoEd Soccer at Bushwick Inlet Park

What a summer it's been down at Bushwick Inlet Park, with our CoEd footy league absolutely cooking! The intensity on the pitch is palpable, proving a fantastic spectacle for all who love the beautiful game, or as they say in Italy, il calcio! Let's dive headfirst into the action, because some teams are absolutely flying while others are battling to stay afloat in these churning waters of competition.

Top of the Table Tussle

Leading the pack, with commanding performances week after week, it's Brooklyn Bound SC, currently sitting atop the league with an impressive 24 points from nine outings. They've been relentless, clinical in front of goal, and defensively stout. They're certainly Brooklyn-bound for glory on this pitch, leaving opponents often flat-footed! But breathing down their necks, hot on their heels and with a game in hand, are Win or Lose We Booze on 21 points. This squad is proving that for them, winning has absolutely been the best kind of 'booze' to celebrate with, putting opponents away with ruthless efficiency, including a recent 4-3 nail-biter against Bloaks FC and a stunning 6-1 drubbing of Thottenham Hotgurls!

Midfield Mayhem and Rising Stars

Just behind the top two, the race for the podium spots is heating up like a summer BBQ! Sunset FC, currently in third with 18 points, has found a brilliant groove, proving that the sun has truly been rising on their season. Their dominant 7-2 victory over the powerful Win or Lose We Booze was an absolute statement, sending shockwaves through the division! Hot on their heels with 16 points are Bloaks FC. These Bloaks are proving to be no ordinary blokes, delivering decisive blows and showcasing some real attacking flair. M$G sits in a solid fifth place with 14 points, proving this team is definitely making some sweet M$G on the scoreboard with their strategic play. Frozies (13 points) are heating up, and no one's getting cold feet watching these Frozies light up the league, including a hard-fought 3-2 victory over M$G. Rounding out the mid-table pack are Thottenham Hotgurls on 12 points; these Hotgurls are proving they can turn up the heat when it counts!

The Battle at the Bottom

It’s tough down at the foot of the table, but there’s fighting spirit everywhere! Arse N All (9 points) are certainly trying to get their 'arse-nal' of talent firing on all cylinders to climb out of the danger zone. Invincibility Glitch (8 points) will be hoping to patch up that glitch in their armor, as their initial invincibility has indeed hit a bit of a snag recently, evidenced by a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Frozies. Net Six & Chill (6 points) have been anything but chill during recent performances, needing to find the back of the net more often, especially after a tough 1-4 loss to Thottenham Hotgurls. And at the bottom, Beer FC (3 points) and Oaks FC (2 points) are still battling away. It's been a bitter pint of results for Beer FC, but they're still brewing hope. Similarly, Oaks FC are still trying to branch out and find that elusive first victory and turn those two draws into something more! Their determination, even in the face of steep odds, is commendable.
